A Life of Adventure: The Blog Challenge Awakens

It has been nearly a month since I wrote in this here blog. I ordinarily keep it pretty updated, but life has really gotten all up in my business in the last few weeks. It's important to me (and the business) to keep up the blogging, though, so I'm going to get back in here and try to do a 30 day blog challenge starting today. Since filling 30 days of sequential blogs is no small task, I'm going to take this opportunity to brainstorm some upcoming blog topics. I'll link to the posts as I write them:

Over the past week, we've posted a couple articles about our upcoming Kiva Loan. If you want to contribute to our crowdfunding loan, here is our borrower page. Though I know many of you are aching to loan us money already, we wouldn't feel right about things unless we in some way exhibited our credit-worthiness in terms other than a high charisma score and ass-kickingly awesome products. This is our entire company: Our goal, in case it isn't obvious, is to become a widely-distributed lifestyle product manufacturer. We want Outlaw Soaps to be a household name, on par with Old Spice and Burt's Bees, while still maintaining our high quality manufacturing, small business mentality, and general enthusiasm for YOU.

Just the 'Fax M'aam: How this whole Colfax thing happened

About a month ago, Russ and I realized one of our most powerful and longest-term dreams of our lives: moving to a little old West mountain town. This photo is of us on the day we signed the leases on both our new home and our new business. Both Russ and I wanted to do that for pretty much our entire lives. I lived in cities but have always felt like I really belonged in the country. Russ lived all over the place -- basically a military brat...
