Danielle and Russ Vincent of Outlaw

The other day, in a small business owners' group I'm part of, someone asked what they can post without sounding insensitive or tone-deaf. I responded that we have to be human beings during this time.

We are all experiencing the same concerns, hardships, and changes in our ways of life. We can't visit our parents. We can't go to our favorite places to hang out with our favorite people. We can't shake strangers' hands when we meet them.

And yet some businesses are trying to keep up with business as usual.

But this is not business as usual.

So, for us, we focus on how we can be helpful during this time:
🥊 How our products are actually really important in the fight against the spread of the virus (hand soap is in limited supply, but will be coming back soon).
😌 How our products can be helpful for comfort.
🚗 How our to-your-door-delivery can help you avoid grocery store trips.
📦 How our independence from Amazon means that we can ship product quicker (at least for the foreseeable future).

I'm working on a post about how we can all be supportive of our hard-working and dedicated truckers as they are delivering the staples we all need to stay alive.

And yes, we're still doing our best to stay in business during this time. We were relieved to hear that our business was not forced to close in the state-wide closure, as long as we enforce distancing and health recommendations (which we are).

As the co-owner of this little company, and the employers of 13 hard-working and employment-worthy folks, your messages of support and encouragement, as well as your consistent ordering, is LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Without you, we wouldn't have a reason to be in business. We'd just give up the ghost already.

But you're here, you're amazing, and we are here for you.

From the bottom of our hearts, we can not thank you enough. ❤️
