Solid cologne is a relatively new concept to most people, so if you've never heard of it, or if you're not quite sure how to use it, don't worry: You're not alone!
First: What's the difference between solid cologne and spray cologne?
I'm glad you asked! You can read my pretty extensive blog post about the difference between solid and spray cologne here, but to summarize:
Solid cologne is scent delivered via a wax base
Spray cologne is scent delivered by an alcohol base
All the other details are secondary.
Second: Which is better, solid cologne or spray cologne?
This part is not as cut-and-dried, because it has to do with you, your body, your preferences...
Some people report that our solid cologne scent lasts all day, and some report that it fades quickly.
This is because of the difference in your body temperature and how the scent is released. If you run warm, the scent will dissipate faster, be stronger. If you're chill, you'll get a longer lasting scent, but it might be more faint.
For liquid (spray) cologne, this again depends on your unique body chemistry, but is a little more universal, since it doesn't depend on your body heat to release.
This is one of the (many) reasons we offer such a comprehensive satisfaction guarantee (100% satisfaction! 100% of the time!)... there really is no way to know how it'll react on you until you try it.
For those of you who have tried it, what do you think? Did it work for you? Did it last a long time?
I love the solid cologne and do feel it lasts hours. So far 6-8 that I am aware of. Just ordered the cologne sampler so have to see how that goes. I always feel warm but my skin always feels cool, so maybe why the solid has worked well.
