Why Handmade Soap Runs Out (and what to do about it)

In the past week, we have absolutely run out of many of our types of handmade soap (specifically Fire in the Hole Campfire Soap and Blazing Saddles Soap, among others) as a result of the perfect storm of our move from Grass Valley to Reno (upending production) and our recent popularity on a few popular sites (Reddit, OddityMall, and WKBR).

First, you might be wondering why a reputable outfit like ours could run out of our most popular products... and, well, it comes down to production.

Our handmade soaps are hand made, so if production is upended (and moved from one state to another), we don't get to make them. And also, they're pretty temperamental to make, so our first few batches in any new facility are prone to issues.

However, in the past couple weeks, we have hired a few new folks to help us make handmade soap, so our production is just about to pick up again! Hooray!

So what can you do about it until our production catches up?

Well, for your practical all-day-every-day cleansing needs, we have a fine set of bar soaps for you to enjoy. Or if you'd like to dip your toe into the world of body wash, we do have some fine natural body washes.
