Arthur Morgan, Hero & Outlaw
"Two sprays to the chest of The Gambler scent cologne and I feel like Arthur Morgan pulling up a chair at the poker table at the Saloon in Valentine. You will too." - John from The MarketPlace at Placita Santa Fe

Our scents, as described by where I think they fit in Red Dead Redemption 2:

🐴 Blazing Saddles: Arthur Morgan's regular scent when he's clean. It smells like leather, gunpowder, and sandalwood.

🔥 Fire in the Hole: Arthur Morgan sitting around the campfire and getting experience with explosives.

🂡🂱🃁🃎🃞 The Gambler: Arthur Morgan playing poker in a fancy St. Denis bar.

🎩 Calamity Jane: Arthur Morgan dapper and clean.

🌲 Mountain Hideout: What Arthur Morgan smells most of the time. I mean, if he doesn't have a rotting animal on his horse.

🌻 Home on the Range: Mary, Arthur Morgan's old flame.

Russ and I haven't ever really been big players of video games, but John from The MarketPlace (who left that nice review) encouraged me to take a look at Red Dead Redemption 2, and WOW, this is NOT like any video game I've ever seen.

Yes, there are challenges, but the whole thing is so freeform.

It has been SO amazing to experience this masterpiece of interactive cinema.

It's not even a game. There's a cinematic mode where you can just set it to show beautiful angles of Arthur Morgan (heretofore referred to as "you") riding across the open countryside.

You can just wander around pretty much wherever you want, interact with (and sometimes accidentally run into physically, and sometimes get in an accidental fist fight with, and sometimes accidentally murder 😬) random people, and -- I honestly have no idea how this is made -- but encounter random animals.

I know lots of our customers are huge fans of the game, and I was always a little embarrassed to say I hadn't ever played it. But as small business owners, we haven't had a lot of free time... until now (I wish I had other hobbies besides going out for food, hiking, and gambling).

Amazingly, RDR2 contains all these experiences and more (including my personal favorite real-life hobby: sleeping outside next to a campfire). It has given us a real window into a beautiful world, even from our living room sofa.

THANK YOU to all the customers who have encouraged us to play all these years. You're right - it's totally amazing.

Side note: Some people have remarked that one of our ads has a scene from RDR in it, but that's actually part of the graphic from OddityMall.com, not from us. We just promote the article since it's such a nice write-up of our products.
