Whiskey Fudge Recipe (Jack Daniels or Jim Beam is a good choice)

Whiskey Fudge made with Jim Beam Devil's Cut

Note: many people have asked if this is soap or real fudge. It's real fudge, for real eating. Though I must say... I had a couple pieces of this and I am definitely not ok to drive, so eat carefully.

When we found this whiskey fudge recipe, we just knew we had to share it. I just made this about an hour ago (*hic*) and it's AH-MAY-ZING. I strongly recommend it.

1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup Jim Beam Devil's Cut or another type of whiskey you like (you'll taste it)

2 (1 lb) boxes powdered sugar

1 cup chopped pecans or 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

Melt chocolate bits in a microwave or double broiler, stirring frequently.

As soon as chocolate is melted, mix Jack Daniels with the powdered sugar in a large bowl and add to the melted chocolate

Stir well and add nuts if you want.

Turn into a 13x9x2-inch pan and cover with plastic wrap.

This sets quickly and you want to cool it long enough to set but still warm enough to cut.

Since this is a no cook recipe, the alcohol will still be 100%.

Be careful how much you eat and don't serve to minors.

Puking fudge sounds awesome, but it is not nearly as awesome as not puking fudge.

Did you know we make whiskey soap? Well, we do! And whiskey lotion too! Get your some!

BTW… I used unsweeted baking chocolate instead of semi sweet – to cut back on the sweet… worked out great… cuz 2 lbs of powdered sugar is A LOT of SWEET!

Thanks for this! Whiskey Fudge – Of course, I had to try it! At first it is very strong and very sweet but after it sits in an air tight container for a few days to a week or so it’s much less harsh! Everyone I shared it with loved it! Whiskey Fudge will be a part of my candy making routine next holiday season.. or maybe even V-day.
